Enable/Disable Folder Timestamp on Scanned Items

To prevent your Canon Color imageCLASS MF753Cdw from creating time/date-stamped subfolders during scanning, you can adjust the scan settings to disable this feature. Here's how:

Using the Canon MF Scan Utility:

  1. Open the Canon MF Scan Utility:

    • On your computer, search for and open the "Canon MF Scan Utility."
  2. Access Settings:

    • Click on the [Settings] button to open the configuration window.
  3. Modify Save Settings:

    • In the settings window, select the appropriate scan option (e.g., [PDF], [JPEG], [TIFF], etc.).
    • Under the [Save Settings] section, locate and uncheck the option labeled "Save to a subfolder with current date."
  4. Apply and Save Changes:

    • Click [OK] or [Apply] to save your changes.

By unchecking the "Save to a subfolder with current date" option, your scans will be saved directly to the specified folder without creating additional date-stamped subfolders.
