How to Create an Outlook Signature in the Mobile App
If you frequently send emails from your phone, having a professional signature in the Outlook mobile app can save time and leave a polished impression. Here’s how to set up your email signature in the Outlook app for both iOS and Android:
Step 1: Open the Outlook App
First, ensure you have the Outlook app installed and that you're logged into your account.
Step 2: Access Settings
Tap your profile icon (or the gear icon) in the top-left corner.
Scroll down and tap Settings (the gear icon if you didn’t already select it).
Step 3: Find the Signature Section
Scroll down until you see Signature.
Tap on Signature.
Step 4: Enter Your Signature
Delete the default text (“Get Outlook for iOS” or “Get Outlook for Android”).
Type your desired signature.
Example:
Best regards,
Jane Doe
Marketing Manager
Company Name
Tip: While the mobile app doesn’t support fancy formatting (fonts, colors, images), you can keep it clean and professional.
Step 5: Save Your Changes
Tap the back arrow or simply navigate back — changes are saved automatically.
Pro Tip:
If you’d like more advanced formatting (logos, hyperlinks, colors), you’ll need to set up your signature on the desktop version of Outlook, and those signatures will sync for desktop use. But for mobile, simple text works best.
